Research at ENSAL is supported by UMR CNRS 5600 Environnement Ville Société - EVS, with its component EVS-LAURe, Lyon Architecture Urbanisme Recherche, labeled a research unit by the French Ministry of Culture, and URM Models pour l'Architecture et le Patrimoine - MAP, with its component MAP-Aria, Applications et de recherches en informatique pour l'architecture URM MAP.

The EVS-LAURe laboratory is a research unit of the French Ministry of Culture and a component of UMR CNRS 5600 Environnement, Ville et Société.

The MAP-Aria laboratory

ENSAL is home to the Applications and Research in Computer Science for Architecture team - Aria, of the Models and Simulations for Architecture and Heritage Multisite Research Unit - MAP.

The theses

ENSAL teacher-researchers can supervise theses in the architecture field, but also co-supervise theses in other related disciplines.

The purpose of this section is to present the work of doctoral students, pursued within the School's two research units, and to answer questions from aspiring researchers.
