Program
The course comprises 450 hours of specific teaching, complementary to that of engineering studies and spread over three years. It is organized around three main areas: architectural design and projects, the culture and history of architecture, and the modeling and representation of forms.
An annual passing jury, made up of the teachers who have taught the year's courses, ENSAL's pedagogical managers and representatives from INSA, ENTPE and ECL, is organized by ENSAL.
Students are exempt from a maximum of 150 hours of teaching each year at their home institution.
At the end of the three years, ENSAL awards these students the Diploma of Studies in Architecture and Engineering - DEAI. They then have the opportunity to apply to ENSAL in the first year of the Master's cycle by validation of prior learning as soon as they hold their engineering diploma and the DEAI, in order to obtain their State Architectural Diploma - DEA. This system enables these students to obtain an engineering degree and an architectural diploma in seven years.
